GALBI MARINADE
A Korean marinade classically used to marinate short ribs. When this sauce comes together, the smells of Korean food fill the kitchen while the short ribs tenderize with unmatchable flavors. For a beef alternative, try this marinade whit chicken, tofu, or mushrooms. Marinate meats for at least 6 hours (or add a can of 7-Up to shorten the time) and other proteins for roughly 30 minutes.

Mince the garlic and dice the Asian pear. Place in a medium mixing bowl with honey and mash together with a potato masher or fork (if you have a food processor you can use this instead for a smoother marinade).
2. Add the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and black pepper.
3. Marinate your short ribs for at least 6 hours or marinate mushrooms for 30 minutes. Roast or grill as you would normally, flipping halfway through. Enjoy!
