LINC Box week of August 6th

Wow! How did July fly by so fast?! Things are ramping up here at the warehouse as we prepare for some of our biggest customers (Gonzaga and WSU) to come back into session, which nicely correlates with all sorts of exciting new fruits and vegetables coming into season. We've packed the boxes with fruits this week (who doesn't love fruit?) and we also have a big first this week: celery! Now, I'm not the greatest celery lover as a general rule, but this stuff is gooooooood. It has a great crunch and a nice salty finish. I think a farm to table Bloody Mary is in order, using the glacier tomatoes in this week's box. (And check out Spokane's newest distillery, Warrior Liquor, made with locally grown grains malted by LINC Foods if you want to go the extra mile!)

We're also giving the Tonnemaker peaches another go this week! Sounds like they have worked out their quality control issues, so please let us know how they are!
