D’anjou Pears - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA or OPMA, Okanogan, WA - D'Anjou pears are fresh and juicy with a citrus zing. Their firmness makes them a top choice for baking or poaching and their flavor makes them an ideal pick for snacking - a great all-around pear!

Brussels Sprouts - Caruso Farms, Snohomish, WA - These tasty mini cabbages are in season for a short time! Our favorite ways to enjoy brussels sprouts are roasted with either miso or balsamic glaze or pan fried with potato gnocchi. A great winter vegetable.

Red Mustard Greens - Cabrera Farms, Burlington, WA - A flavorful and peppery green to add to a salad mix, sauté with cumin and turmeric, or slow braise for southern style mustards. Mustards are cold tolerant, making them available in the early spring and late fall.

Broccoli - Big Sage Organics, WA - Broccoli is crunchy with a mild bitterness when raw and sweeter when cooked. Broccoli cheddar soup, broccoli curry, and pasta with roasted broccoli are some of our favorite ways to use these versatile little trees! Pair with strong flavors like garlic, lemon, chili, or sesame.

Acorn/ Carnival Squash- Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA - Acorn squash, a type of winter squash, has a sweet and nutty flavor that is often compared to pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash. When cooked, the flesh of acorn squash becomes soft and tender but also a little fibrous. It holds its shape well in salads and other side dishes but can also be pureed for soups. It is rich in nutrients, such as fiber, vitamin C, potassium, and magnesium.

Orange Carrots - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Sweet, crunchy, and classic. This root is a staple snack or a much-loved addition to salads and stews. Feature the flavor of carrots by roasting them with garlic and parmesan or sautéing with sage.

Yellow Storage Onions - Andersen Organics, Othello, WA - Our multifaceted and indispensable friend in the kitchen. Keep these onions stocked in the pantry for all-around use. Yellow onions have the quintessential strong and pungent onion flavor that’s ready to be chopped, sliced, minced, or diced.

Red Potatoes - Ronniger's Organics, Moyie Springs, ID - The red potato is ideal for stews, potato salads, and roasts! It's firm and waxy texture helps it to hold it's shape so it doesn't fall apart when cooked.

INW FRUIT | whitestone mountain orchard, tonasket, wa - ambrosia apples - Ambrosia apples are a damn good apple. They are sweet, juicy, and crisp with honey-like notes. Their low acidity makes them brown slower than other apples, making them great for adding apple slices to your lunchbox! AND asian pears - Olympic pears have a sweet, caramel-like flavor that intensifies over time. Their flesh is very crisp. Olympic pears ripens late in the fall and are great keepers over the winter.

THURSDAY - the grain shed, spokane, wa - oatis - One of our shop favorites, Oatis is a fermented oat porridge loaf, with coriander and fenugreek seeds incorporated for a delicious herbal, maple flavor in every sourdough bite. Naturally leavened Sourdough.

ARTISAN CHEESE | (TUESDAY) dill havarti - brush creek creamery, deary, id - A creamy-textured Dutch cheese speckled with flavorful dill (WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY) mozzarella - ferndale farmstead, ferndale, was - Fior di Latte, or "blossom of milk" translated in English, is a fresh, whole milk low moisture mozzarella with a delicate flavor and texture. We make ours the old fashioned way using Italian cultures instead of vinegar to give you the full mozzarella flavor that this well-known cheese deserves. Makes a yummy caprese salad, grilled cheese, quesadilla, frittata, or whatever your imagination desires.
