LINC BOX - Tuesday

half share + base share + large share

Dark Sweet Cherries - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA - Sweet, dark red cherries! Some of the first cherries to be available in our region. Known for their extraordinarily large size, mild firmness, and mild sweet flavor - these cherries make for a special snack or baking amendment.

Asparagus - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Enjoy fresh spring asparagus during its short window of availability! Asparagus is one of those hyper-seasonal items but we'll have these tender, green shoots around for through the end of May - soak in this beautiful sign of spring while you can!

Little Gem Lettuce - Full Bushel Farl, Medical Lake, WA - A small, green romaine variety. One of the very best tasting lettuces. This variety is more heat tolerant - perfect for growing the hot days of summer!

Garlic Scapes - Dog Wild Farm, Spokane, WA - Garlic scapes are the stalks that grow from the bulbs of hardneck garlic plants. Chop into small pieces and sauté for dishes that call for garlic cloves - the flavor is similar with an added freshness! You can also try grilling them whole or making garlic scape pesto! Try this LINC Box Garlic Scape Butter Recipe!

Green Zucchini - Elipthorp Farm, Deer Park, WA - Green zucchini is so summer and versatile.  Because of their mild, delicate flavor, try making zucchini noodles as a replacement for pasta, cheesy zucchini quesadillas, or combining it with your garden zucchini to make this zucchini bread!

Radishes - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Try the current food trend, sliced radishes with butter and salt! We also enjoy pickling these fresh radishes for tacos, or this LINC Box Bahn Mi Recipe.
