LINC BOX - TUESday - Friday

half shares + base shares + large shares

Mediterranean Cucumbers - Elithorp Farm, Deer Park, WA - These small and mild cucumbers have a thin skin which makes them a great option for snacking, sandwiches, or salads. Mediterranean cucumbers are on the crisper and less watery side of the cucumber spectrum! They’re an early variety in the spring, making one of the first cucumbers to enjoy.

Asparagus - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA - Enjoy fresh spring asparagus during its short window of availability! Asparagus is one of those hyper-seasonal items but we'll have these tender, green shoots around for through the end of May - soak in this beautiful sign of spring while you can!

French Breakfast Radishes - Griffin Creek Farm, Skagit Valley, WA - This heirloom radish variety is long with a white tip, making for a beautiful display. Their flavor is more mild than the red radish, but still maintain the peppery crunch!

Rhubarb - Hidden Acres Farm, Green Bluff, WA and The Corner Farm, Spokane, WA and Stonesthrow Farm, Chattaroy, WA - It's time for the annual strawberry rhubarb pie, rhubarb muffins, or Rhubarb Shrub! The nostalgic bright pink, puckery stalk is here!

Chives - Sweet Mercy Farm, Spokane, WA and The Corner Farm, Spokane, WA - The first of the spring herbs! Add fresh onion-like flavor to your eggs, baked potatoes, pasta sauce, or cracker dip.

OR Oregano - Sweet Mercy Farm, Spokane, WA and The Corner Farm, Spokane, WA and The Crow’s Farm, Mt. Vernon, WA - Oregano is an essential part of Italian cuisine, but is also an iconic flavor in Cuban black beans, enchilada sauce, classic braised pork, and marinades for lamb, chicken, and beef dishes.

Spinach - Ralph’s Greenhouse, Mt. Vernon, WA - Spinach is a nutrient rich green that has a sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Pair this crisp green with nuts and fruits for a flavorful and fresh salad. Eat spinach cooked to be able to absorb more of its iron and calcium - we love it on pizza, in soups, in curries, or in smoothies.

OR Arugula - Viva Farms, Mt. Vernon, WA - Arugula lives up to the motto “bitter is better.” It’s peppery flavor adds a satisfying kick to salads but is also a favorite on pizza, in sandwiches, or with pasta. Enjoy this spring and fall green while the whether is warm but not hot!

OR Mizuna - Springtime Farm, Everson, WA - This green great sauteed or raw as a salad base - you'll often find it as a part of salad mixes! It is a mild and slightly sweet variety of mustard greens.
