I N G R E D I E N T S

  • 1 ear popcorn

  • 2 TBSP vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • 2 TBSP butter

  • Paprika, cumin, nutritional yeast or your favorite popcorn topping (optional)

PROCESS

  1. Remove the popcorn kernels from the cob by holding and twisting them off, starting at the smaller end and moving to the other.

  2. On medium heat, place oil and 2-3 popcorn kernels in a pot and cover with a lid. Wait for the kernels to pop - once they do your pan and oil are hot enough.

  3. Add the rest of the popcorn, enough to cover the bottom of the pot. We used one whole cob of popcorn but use less if your pot is smaller. Place the lid on the pot and shake the pot back and forth three times so the oil evenly coats the kernels.

  4. Shake the pot back and forth occasionally. Remove from heat once there are 10+ seconds between pops and immediately transfer to a bowl.

  5. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with salt. Add additional toppings if desired and enjoy!
