Farming wheat, barley, and lentils has been a family tradition at Joseph's Grainery for five generations. NUTRITION INFORMATION

Barley is high in magnesium, iron, vitamin B-6, and fiber. One cup of hulled barley has about 46% daily value of protein.

Wheat berries are high in iron and fiber and ¼ cup has about 10% daily value of protein.

COOKING

Boil 1 cup of barley or wheat berries with 3 cups of water or stock. Cook barley for about 60 minutes and wheat berries for about half an hour.
