Bartlett Pears - OPMA (okanagan producers marketing association), okanogan, wa - Enjoy the juicy and aromatic sweetness of these bartlett pears. We love using these in salads, preserves, and baked goods.

Yellow Bell Peppers - Big Sage Organics, Othello, WA - A fall treat! These peppers are great for veggie platters, stir-fry, and soups! Add to a lunchbox or make stuffed peppers for a fun and easy weeknight meal!

Large Red Tomatoes - Elithorp Farm, Deer Park, WA - This versatile fruit can top your favorite salad, be the base of a soup or sauce, or give any dish a delicious summer flare. Try this Homemade Salsa, Tomato Basil Bruchetta, or my favorite during this heat wave... a Caprese Salad!

Watermelon Radishes - Vinegar Flats, Spokane, WA - We love that these heirloom radishes bring so much color to cold days. The lower soil temperatures of fall and winter often soften their peppery spice and bring out an otherwise hidden sweetness. For a fresh and bright radish salad, try using a carrot peeler to make thin radish slices. Add a touch of apple cider vinegar, marinated feta from Brush Creek Creamery, walnuts, and a pinch of salt. Mmm!

Red Leaf Lettuce - Big Sage Organics, Othello, WA - These leaves are perfect to use as “tortillas” for lettuce-based tacos and lettuce wraps! This lettuce is also a great addition to your favorite sandwich or burger for an added crunch!

Globe/ Striped Eggplant - Big Sage Organics, Othello, WA - These pretty purples make a great baba ganoush or pair well with zucchini to top a white wine pasta dish!
