Shishito Peppers - Dogwild Farm, Spokane, WA -or- Lilac City Harvest, Spokane, WA -or- Sweet Mercy Farm, Spokane, WA - These are thin-skinned little green peppers that you can cook up in a skillet in ten minutes. Once they have a little char on them, they’re so irresistible.
Cucumbers- Fleming Family Farm, Chattaroy, WA - Cool and crunchy! My favorite veggie.... the possibilities are endless with this one. Quick pickle to top any dish, toss with tomatoes, basil, and feta topped with olive oil and a balsamic reduction, or add it to a fresh, summer quinoa salad!
