OR Redhaven or Blazing Star Peaches - CLS Farms, Moxee, WA - Take a juicy bite out of the first peaches of the season!! Leave these peaches on the counter until they're ripe - the top of the peach near the stem should give a bit when it's perfectly ready. Redhaven and Blazing Star are both freestone varieties, meaning their pit is easily removed from the flesh!

Red or Green Kale - Lilac City Farm, Spokane Valley, WA and big Sage Organics, Othello, WA - Kale is a tasty and nutritious green with a earthy and bittersweet flavor. It has high levels of fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamins C and K, and iron. Massaging or cooking these greens breaks down their texture, making them sweeter and easier to digest. Kale is choice for a hearty salad, kale chips, smoothies or soup.

OR Small Green Cabbage - Big Sage Organics, Othello, WA - Crunchy cabbage for slaws, roasts, and sautees. Green cabbage has a mild and gentle flavor relative to its red counterpart.
