Week of May 29th

LINC BOX - Tuesday

half share + base share + large share

Asparagus - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Enjoy fresh spring asparagus during its short window of availability! Asparagus is one of those hyper-seasonal items but we'll have these tender, green shoots around for through the end of May - soak in this beautiful sign of spring while you can!

Salad Onions - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Enjoy the bulb and the greens of these bunched walla walla sweet onions!

Strawberries - J&J Produce, Sunnyside, WA - Jake and Jesus at J&J Produce hope to share with customers how delicious strawberries can truly be. Most people haven't eaten a fully ripe strawberry in their life, which is a wrong we are trying to right."

Green Garlic - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Green or spring garlic is young garlic that can be eaten in its entirety, from bulb to leaves. Use it in place of garlic scallions or leeks. Chop into small pieces and include in potato salad, dressings, stir fry, or soup.

Hakurei Turnips - Full Bushel Farm, Medical Lake, WA - Hakurei, or Japanese salad turnips, are sweet and crisp when raw or buttery and smooth when cooked. Add them to a salad like radishes or roast them with miso and ginger!

or Red Radishes - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Fresh bulk radishes! Try the simple snack of sliced radishes with butter and salt! We also enjoy pickling these fresh radishes for tacos, or Bahn Mi.

Kale Bunches -Full Bushel Farm, Medical Lake, WA - Full grown kale is a favorite for salads, kale chips, soups, and smoothies. One of our favorites is the avocado kale salad recipe!
