Red Bartlett Pears - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA - Red Bartlett Pears have an early harvest season and are a very vigorous, easy to grow tree in the Inland Northwest. The sweet and tender flavor profile is perfect for fresh eating and canning. When mature but not fully ripe, Red Bartlett pears are crunchy and tart, but when fully ripe, they develop a juicy, buttery texture with a sweet flavor.

Radish Microgreens - Full Bushel Farm, Medical Lake, WA - Great for topping sandwiches, wraps, soups, or grain bolws! Radish microgreens have a fresh, crunchy texture and a mildly spicy flavor that goes well with lots of different foods. Broccoli - Welcome Table Farm, Walla Walla, WA - We've been waiting for this delicious, versatile veggie all year long!  Enjoy it raw for a crunchy, slightly sweet, and bitter flavor, or cooked, making it more mild and sweet!  The options are endless... enjoy on pizza, in a stir-fry, omelet, on a veggie platter or charcuterie board, or my favorite,  with pasta!

Roma Tomatoes - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Their bright red, smooth skin, high sugar and acid levels, and low moisture content compared to other tomato varieties, Roma tomatoes are ideal for cooking down into a tomato sauce or paste. Unlike beefsteak tomatoes, Roma tomatoes are not as juicy or as sweet which is why they're more commonly cooked than eaten raw. However, they taste delicious in salads and even in sandwiches!

Cucumbers - Fleming Family Farm, Chattaroy, WA - Cool and crunchy! My favorite veggie.... the possibilities are endless with this one. Quick pickle to top any dish, toss with tomatoes, basil, and feta topped with olive oil and a balsamic reduction, or add it to a fresh, summer quinoa salad!

Lunch Box Peppers- Lilac City Harvest, Veradale, WA - Also known as snack or mini peppers, this veggie is sweet and d-lish! Smaller than bell peppers, these cute little guys have a sweeter and fruitier taste. They're rated with zero Scoville units, which means that they do not provide any heat at all. Perfect for an on the go snack or summer veggie platter. Pair with our Late Summer Seven Layer Dip, or our INW Hummus LINC Box Recipes and you have the ultimate party dish!
