CHICKPEAS WITH MAMA’S EVERYTHING SAUCE

I N G R E D I E N T S

1 TBSP olive oil

1 leek from Ralph’s Greenhouse

2 cloves garlic from Allicins Ranch

½ CUP chickpeas from Palouse Brand, soaked overnight and cooked for ~3 hours until tender

1 JAR (16 oz) Mama’s Everything Sauce from Naija Buka

1 BUNCH greens (optional, spinach, kale or choy would be good here)

Parsley, chives, and/or shredded carrots for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

 

PROCESS

  1. In a medium saucepan, saute the leek and garlic on medium heat with olive oil until tender. 

  2. Add the everything sauce, drained chickpeas, and greens. Bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Serve with rice and top with parsley, chives, and/or shredded carrots. Enjoy!
