D’anjou Pears - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA- Last pears of the season!! The D'Anjou is truly an all-purpose pear, with a firmer texture than Bartlett, and won't change color as it ripens. They are juicy when ripe, and their subtle sweetness hints at a refreshing lemon-lime flavor. This pear is perfect for baking, poaching, roasting, or grilling and is delicious when sliced fresh in salads or eaten as a snack.

Green Curly Kale - Griffin Creek Farm, Carnation, WA - Full grown kale is a favorite for salads, kale chips, soups, and smoothies. One of our favorites is the avocado kale salad recipe!

Purple Majesty Potatoes - Filaree Garlic Farm, Omak, WA - These potatoes are a dark purple potato variety with purple skin and deep purple flesh. These gourmet potatoes have a rich sweet flavor, a firm moist texture, and keep their color well when cooked. They have a crisp and dense consistency, with aromatic notes and a sweet and tart flavor with fruity and nutty undertones. When these apples are stored, their taste sweetens and mellows, enhancing the nutty nuances.
